httpd - directory listings

hi,

I have a server on which httpd is configured. The telnet,ssh are blocked. I don't have permission to log on that server except thru. ftp and that too in my area only.

Through browser i am not able to view the directories within my area. This is also blocked. Is there any way through which i can view the directories within my area only ?

Are you saying you do have ftp access to your area? If so, ftp does allows cmds like ls.
See

man ftp

httpd - directory listings

hi,

thru. ls i can have the directory listing but that i don't want. I want the directory listing in browser only.

The directory listings are banned in httpd.conf file. How to override this ?

You must create an .htaccess file and put this:

<Directory /yourpath>
...
Options +Indexes
...
</Directory>

p.s. override must be permitted or this file will not have any effect
