Is that a problem? If yes try a different monitor.
What kind of distro is HPUX?

I admit I am being deliberately unhelpful. But if you don't tell us what your question is, don't seem to make an effort to look up documentation, and all that with an ancient UNIX release that has nothing to do with Linux, you are an easy target. You could at least have told us if the system is up and running, doesn't boot, has other problems etc, or if you are just worried what this could mean.

In the last millenium, I worked with HPUX and remember that the system console could be configured so that it displayed the system panel, i.e. four LED or LCD hex displays on the actual box. Init C440 is such a display, if I am not wrong. There is documentation that decodes it for you. FLT doesn't look good, but I don't remember if it actually means a problem.

As far as I know, HP keeps its HPUX documentation on docs.hp.com, even for long obsolete products. Investigate there, and if you find nothing, find an HPUX or at least UNIX forum.

...and if you TRIED to look those error codes up on HP's site, you'd have seen them. The "INIT C440" indicates the system could not initialize the console during boot up. This can happen if the terminal itself is in an incorrect mode or for other reasons (like failed hardware).

HP/UX is NOT Linux...and version 10 is ancient, and only runs on HP hardware. HP/UX is a commercial distro, which you PAY FOR, along with the HP hardware...which means you have SUPPORT from HP. Did you call them?? What did you do/try before posting?

Yes I know that we had paid but for now the system is not in contract with HP and we not found any help, That's why I posted.

I know this is hardware issue, but customer is not agree to that, and this hardware is very old but they want up and running. We told them we tried but don't take any guarantee to up and running.

Funny, *I* found the errors and solutions posted on HP's website. Do you not have access to their public website and support forums to be able to look things up??

If one of YOUR customers is having a problem, they can either pay to get their system under support, or take the word of a consultant they've hired. If they don't trust you or take your word for things, there's not much we can help you with.

If you ALREADY KNEW the answer, then why ask the question???
