Hp sim


How to configure my linux box as a client for HP SIM. HP SIM server is windows and i have installed my suse operating system in HP server so i need to monitor the HP server(Linux) from HP SIM (Windows). Can any one assist me this.

BTW: SNMP isn't Solaris specific and might be part of your distro (although probably not installed/configured out-of-the-box).

Yes, HP can, since you're paying for support from them. And did you try reading the documentation on it??? From the very first page:

It even tells you what to download for SIM to work, and tells you that SNMP is used/supported.
