Question how to upgrade Mysql version


Dear All,
now a days im trying to upgrade mysql3.23 to mysql4.... on FC4 machine, and i really dnt know how to do this. i nead ur help in this regard
please keep in mind that im new with Linux

yum upgrade mysql

Or download the version you want and install manually, grabbing the necessary rpm's from mysql.com's website.

yes i have tried "yum upgrade mysql" but it gives me error like "ValueError= unpack list of wrong size" n i dnt know how to deal with it
