What do you mean real-time and manual?
#yum update
#compile from source
is that?
Then search google there are enough resources to guide you.

When it comes to RHEL, pay for the subscription and use the
Code:
yum update
cmd.
Also includes email/telephone support.

Alternately, use the free Centos rebuild, but this includes only the updates; not the support.

Real time and Manual means that through command prompt instead of GUI.

Please provide step by step process.

As chrism01 said if the RHEL is registered license version then just type in CLI "#yum update" and hit ENTER. it will update all the new updates.
