How To Turn On RewriteEngine in RHEL


Hi,i wanted how i would turn on RewriteEngine on RHEL.Any help is welcome.

I tried typing a2enmode rewrite on my console and i got :command not found.

If you refer to apache, then u need to add the directive to the vhost configuration or to .htaccess or to httpd.conf and it looks like this:

RewriteEngine On

You will need to edit the config to turn on the following:

RewriteEngine On

Then create rules based on your conditions.
