how to play videos on LAMP Stack?

Dear Friends,

I am trying to play mp4 videos using Apache Web server but I could not.
I've been googling for long time...
I added AddType video/mp4 .mp4 in httpd.conf even then it is not working..

Do I need to do anything with Linux and Apache....

KIndly help...

Apache will simply be delivering the content it would be up to your browser to actually play the content.
