I need to apply goodrcptto patch to a live qmail server.
If it's a production server better make sure you can test elsewhere first.
What are the steps for doing this? A detailed step-by-step would be appreciated, since this would be my first post-installation patch.
Your profile says "Fedora Core", is this a FC box or not? If it is you would best patch the Qmail source RPM, else you can build from source tarball. Some basic tarball instructions here.
