How to linux OS boot's?


Hi,

I am very new to Linux. I like Linux OS.

I want to understand how the Linux OS boot's and the booting process of Linux? And as a learner what i should know about Linux?

Please advice to for the same.

I consider the boot process an advanced topic. I would suggest you start at a sight like this one -->http://linuxreviews.org/beginner/

Install a system, and use it. Learn the basics in the tutorials. Then you will have some knowledge of the basics, and can move on to 'how linux boots'.

Is this homework? If not, I'm curious why the boot process is the first thing you want to know.

Regardless, the boot process is not really different than any other OS---I would do some Google searches on computer booting in general.
