How to know what emails server is sending?

Hello,
I am Linux newbie,
the server is sending emails to my friends email that owns the server.
I had gone to the /etc/cron and edit the logwatch and scripts there to make them send email to my email.
I am using: http://www.whmcs.com/
Are there other scripts that send email?
thanks in advance

Does the Pope wear a pointy hat? Tons of stuff sends out emails. Generally, most stuff ends up going to root so if you want to catch as much as possible, just change the alias in /etc/alias for root to have the email redirected to yourself.

You can check your syslog messages to see to whom email is being sent. You can also check /var/spool/mail as a quick and dirty way of seeing what local mailboxes are receiving mail.
