How To Install Apache 2 with SSL on AIX (with openssl)


Hi Friends,

Could you please guide me on How To Install Apache 2 with SSL on AIX (with openssl)

I Need to install below Apache version in AIX 5.3 Server

bash-3.00# apachectl -V
Server version: IBM_HTTP_Server/2.0.47.1 Apache/2.0.47

Server is AIX 5.3
bash-3.00# oslevel -s
5300-10-01-0921

bash-3.00# getconf KERNEL_BITMODE
64
bash-3.00# getconf HARDWARE_BITMODE
64

1.What are the files/ rpms i need.

2.How to Compile new http server with ssl

3. Is there any prereqs conditions there?

IHS (IBM HTTP Server) is not rpm wrapped. It comes with usual AIX .bff package. Usually it comes with SSL modules in it, you need just configure it.
