How to improve concurrent users in apache..


Hi,
i am using apache 2.2.16 version..
i want to improve my concurrent users..
please anyone help me..

find this line at httpd.conf
Code:
MaxClients [n]
switch n to any number (AFAIK by default bellow 256) -- without the square bracket.
if not exist, add that line.

if you want to add more than that, before you specify MaxClients you have to add this line
Code:
ServerLimit [n]
hope it works.

where i can include this lines in my httpd.conf file..
can i include that lines in any module or normally add bottom of the file??

just add it somewhere will be ok.
as long as it's not inside any tag.

PS. add ServerLimit first, than MaxClients below.

AFAIK if it's below or equal to 256, you don't have to state ServerLimit for ServerLimit's default is 256.
