Unhappy How to have Mysql to start query logs

Dear All,

In binary installation of mysql, the logging start by:
$MYSQL_HOME/bin/mysqld_safe --log --user=mysql &

I have moved to a new Fedora server and use the rpm to install Mysql.
It is start by:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld start

I cannot start the logging by adding --log option. How can it be invoked in a rpm installation?
Please help.

Regards,
Anthony
