How to edit "Zone File Editor"?

Hi all,

Any folk on the forum is experienced on editing the "Zone File Editor" ? (pls see attached file)

I'm subscribing Godaddy's "Ultimate Hosting Plan". Now only email accounts of the Hosting Domain can receive emails. Other email accounts of addon domains unable to receive emails. They can send emails and receive emails sent only from the email accounts of the hosting domain. The emails sent to them on Internet are bouncing saying "recipient NOT found".

Lately Godaddy has cancelled all written online supports by way of email leaving behind only the call support by phone. It is NOT convenient for customers living on other continents. I have been googling 2 days and couldn't find links related.

Please help, if possible.

Regards
satimis

Lots of things to check!!!!

I haven't worked with Zone Editor, but from screenshots I got basic idea about how to add/modify records for managing zone.

Just to clarify the query here, only below setup is not working:
For e.g. your domain is xyz.com, addon domains are abc.com and jkl.xyz.com.
One external user ghj@gmail.com sends mail to tyu@jkl.xyz.com, and if fails by saying "receiptant not found".
Please confirm.

If above is the case, from outside network, check for below things:
dig xyz.com
dig abc.com
dig jkl.xyz.com
dig MX abc.com
dig MX jkl.xyz.com
This will give you Mail server records for those domains. If you are not able to find any records, then you need to add appropriate records in zone editor of Godaddy interface.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

Thanks for your advice.

Problem solved. First I have to cancel the current email accounts. Afterwards on MX of all domains make @ pointing to mail.domain.com. Recreate the deleted email accounts on cPanel of the hosting domain.
