hi everyone.........

i need ur help in order to connect two linuxs Pcs directly without any modems to intiate PPP sessions in my lab..also i need help how to setup one as PPP server and other as Client... notethat i am going to test PPP sessions in my lab...

Well going out on a limb here...

You might be able to use a null modem cable between the systems serial ports (if they have them).

The ppp package should have everything you need to do that over serial tty lines.

Thats what a null modem cable is, a cross over for serial ports. Perhaps I assumed serial as if they had network there would be other ways :-)
