how to connect to ftps using command line ?

Hi,

I have a server configured with SSL certificate. I`m trying to connect to this machine but without result (using command line). There is a problem with SSL certificate. I would like to start my linux daemon to check if new file on ftps server exist. How to connect to this server ?

What kind of command may I use ?

Would be great if somebody could help me.

curl supports ftps:// connections, give that a whirl
