how to configure dovecot&sendmail&postfix to accept other domain email?
Hi, on LAN have a few email server, then some is other domain name. how to setup using for purpose to receipt and send email to same domain server and also difference domain server by using dovecot, sendmail and postfix? So now only can receipt and send email to same server only.
i try to create a Dovecot secure certificates but fail.(RHEL5)
1. i go to delete the default file dovecot.pem in folder /etc/pki/dovecot/certs and /etc/pki/dovecot/private.
2. than i go to /usr/share/doc/dovecot-versionnum/examples/
3. than i saw the file mkcert.sh , than i run the command i just type mkcert.sh but cannot run, i check on this file is a rwxr-xr-w is executable file. actually how to run the script?
why are you involving dovecot in this? dovecot is an imap / pop3 serice, it has nothign at all to do with sending email. are you using postfix of sendmail as your mta? under postfix just add domains to your "relay_domains" variable and you're away.
Thank you very much acid kewpie, i am learning to using this two MTA sendmail and postfix, than if sendmail need to configure at /etc/mail/sendmail.mc configure what inside? thank you again...
