how to block gtalk through pfsense firewall


Hello Team,
I am using pfsense firewall and want to block gtalk in all systems which includes linux and windows systems.I have successfully blocked gtalk in all linux systems.But now also the users who used windows OS can access g talk.How can I block gtalk/google talk which using through windows system.Nb.I required how to block through pfsense firewall or exact ports which should I write in firewall to block gtlak.

This is a rare TRIPLE POST...you've posted this in Security, Server, and Enterprise, the exact same question. Please don't post the same thing in multiple locations.

By way of an answer, what you've describe makes no sense. If you block the port, it's blocked, period. The only way what you've described would be possible is that (1) you've set rules on the individual linux boxes, not on the firewall, or (2) the Windows clients have another route out to the world.

Unless your pfsense rules aren't working at all.....you don't say where the pfsense firewall fits in to your environment, if that's the only route to the outside world, or anything specific about what you're working with.
