remove the password file, typically ~/.vnc/passwd
you can also use vncpasswd to change it to something else

I don't have that file, or that command:
[root@xen100 /]# locate passwd |grep vnc
[root@xen100 /]# vncpasswd
-bash: vncpasswd: command not found
[root@xen100 /]#

what distribution is you use ?

in my RHEL 5, just access the Remote Administration via System Panel. You can change it into enabled/disabled and also change the password there.

It also possible to use vncpasswd with root account in terminal or try restarting the vnc services.
