How do I know the server hardware info.

I use RHEL , I would like to know the hardware information of my server , for example if I want to know what is the tape drive capability ( DDS 3 or DDS 4) , scsi model , what can i do ?

I tried the below command , but it did not show what is it - DDS 3 or DDS4 , RHEL have a file that shows all hardware information or not ? just like device manager in windows ? thx

#dmesg |grep tape
Attached scsi tape st0 at scsi0, channel 0, id 3, lun 0

Try:
Code:
mt -f /dev/st0 status
Also you can check /proc/scsi/scsi, or under /sys/class/scsi_tape for more info.

You can try this if it's a pci device:

>lspci -v
