how do i clear my server logs?


how do i clear my server logs at i have 4gb of logs

Usually you would use 'logrotate' to compress and archive old logs.

BTW it seems you've been flying below the radar for a long time: if you read the LQ Rules you will see that posting duplicate threads is not allowed. Please don't do that again.

sorry didn't know it was a rule and i didn't get help the first time or the problem wasn't fixed so i asked again

No problem. You know now. There just aren't valid reasons for crossposting threads but there are other ways to get exposure like moving your thread to a more appropriate forum. You can ask a moderator to move the thread for you by using the [Report] button on the first post in your thread.
