how do i auto start linux


in case power goes offf then how can i configure my linux box to autostart? HELP

Alter your BIOS to restart when power is turned on then set your boot loader to load the distro you want

It depends on what boot loader you're using. If it's LILO, go to a command line as root and type liloconfig and hit enter. Follow the onscreen instructions. I can't remember the GRUB procedure.
