Help With IPTABLES- Internet Server

Hi Guys,
I Set up a server with suse10.3, its a mail server and it also has to double as an Internet server; My problem is im not yet good at configuring IPTABLES, can any one help with this?
My Server already has internet and Has to NICS, one configured with Global IP's and the second is the internal, part of my LAN.
How do i configure the server, such that my LAN clients connect through it, i dont want to use squid, i need them to connect directly.

hi there,

Maybe you would like to use shorewall(http://www.shorewall.net/) to configure IPTABLES firewall.
I find it pretty easy to use and it allows to set up various rules..
