Help - Setting up Apache/CGI/Perl remotely - Redhat/Putty

Ok, I'm a newbie when it comes to configuring Linux servers, and I've been trying to install and configure Perl/CGI on my server. I'm doing it remotely using Putty, and I've been able to edit some of my config files to stop getting error messages. Now whenever I load a Perl or CGI page, it just shows up blank.

I guess what I really need are simple, step by step instructions for downloading and installing whatever packages I need remotely. I've found some instructions online, but they seem to give some conflicting information. Do I need mod_perl?

I am running Red Hat Fedora Core 6. Thanks a lot!

What does your apache error log say (/var/log/httpd/error_log)?

Let us know
