Help Printing Logs to screen

Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new to all this, I've set up a web site that takes in a file and does some biological stuff to it and then returns the file to the user to go off and use it.

I want to show that the file is uploading and print out messages when files are created and certain actions take place.

I know that there are messages being printed to the command line whilst all this is going on is there anyway that i can print this to the html page?

Thanks

Ciaran

Hello. I see that's your first post, so welcome to LQ.

Printing to a web page is a simple matter, but you forgot to specify what programming language you're using for your pages. If you're using PHP I can give you a couple suggestions. Also, what exactly are you trying to do, say, run a command in the server, then tell the user to wait, then run another, and so on?
