Patch management? Are you referring to updates of the OS itself or actual patches of some kind?

Thanks dear for reply,
Actually i need a setup of one centralised repository server so that patch updates will be fast for four client servers. For this first i run appache then a i run one command which is "yum install createrepo" but it gives following output -
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Loading "rhnplugin" plugin
This system is not registered with RHN.
RHN support will be disabled.
Setting up Install Process
Setting up repositories
No Repositories Available to Set Up
Reading repository metadata in from local files
Parsing package install arguments
Setting up repositories
No Repositories Available to Set Up
Reading repository metadata in from local files
No Match for argument: createrepo
Nothing to do

I think something going wrong. i already installed rpm which is "createrepo-0.4.8-1.el5.rf.noarch" for 64 bit rhel5 server.
Now i hope u got somewhat clear picture. kindly help me how i can proceed now.
Thanks

The first question is - do you have a valid subscription for redhat? If so, it isn't properly set up. If not, you need to take another tack.

What's the story?
