Question HELP! FTP server setting up. HD patitioning problem.

i am now starting to set up a ftp sever.
os: centos 5.1
sda 250GB
sdb 500GB
sdc 500GB

i wanna to install centos 5.1 on sda.
this is my plan of patitioning the system hd:
/boot 100MB ext2
swap 4GB
/ 20GB ext3
/home 20GB ext3
/usr 30GB ext3
/var 20GB ext3
/tmp 5GB ext3
and the rest: /sysbackup

will someone give me some advise or good idea. i am not sure whether the plan is proper.

thx in advance.

ps: sdb,sdc are 4 ftp data. plz give some advise 2. RAID or LVM? i am so puzzled.
