Unhappy Getting 404 error when trying to open http://serverip/~user

Hi,

Can anyone please help me on this? Im getting a 404 error for all the accounts hosted on my server when try to call them like http://serverip/~user. But its working fine when I straight away call them with their actual domain name like http://domain.com but not working with ~user. I hope it must be the problem with httpd.conf file, but I can't figure out where is the real point of issue. Can anybody help me on this as here are a lot of linux pro's to help people like us?
