GD library
 

Hello!

I'm not really sure if I'm posting to a wright category, but I really need some help (for newbies).

I'm trying to install Moodle to a old IBM machine, that is currently running Ubuntu Server 7.10.

But Moodle needs some "GD library" to run and I don't know how to install it. I did read the documentation on its official site, but I didn't quite understand (like I said, I'm a real newbie).

You can use apt-get or Synaptic to install the software you want from Ubuntu repositories

You need to install php-gd. Please check ur installation CD. For redhat,it come along with distribution CD.
