Unhappy FTP for sub folders

Hi Dears,

I have my LINUX FTP server, which is working fine. Now, I want to create 4 sub folders in my FTP and need to give access to these folders separately.

I saw one solution for this by creating .htaccess and .htpasswd in each folders.. But I didn't get it to work.

Please anyone can help me to solve this.

Thanks & regards

I didn't get any info regarding this from the hosting company.
But after I connected to the FTP the path is showed like this

/Volumes/raid0/users/1276

Also, it is SFTP (secured FTP).
