Unhappy Fragmentation Information on Enterprise Linux


Hi,

Can any one let me know how can i get fragmentation information of file system on enterprise linux ?

just for the information i wouldnt like to use fsck command. Anything other than this is available ?

You can safely use fsck,even on a mounted partition, as long as you ensure to run it in read-only mode
