Question Flushing emails in queue

I am going to trash my old SMTP server. But before I stop the SMTP service and disconnect it from the network, I want to make sure all incoming and outgoing emails in queue are flushed (sent to their destinations). What is the recommended way to accomplish this?

I am using Sendmail 8.13

Thanks in advance.

There should be a queue runner that flushes the queue periodically, but if you want to do it now:
Code:
sendmail -qf

Thanks Berhanie.

I think it would be better to stop listening for incoming connections on port 25 in the sendmail.mc file before doing a
Code:
sendmail -qf
so that no new further incoming or outgoing email arrives while the emails in queue are being flushed.
