finger command's output and user's information

Hi,

Consider the two runs of finger command for two different users:

Code:
[root@localhost ~]# finger root
Login: root Name: root
Directory: /root Shell: /bin/bash
On since Sat Oct 3 14:19 (EDT) on :0 (messages off)
On since Sat Oct 3 15:03 (EDT) on pts/0 from :0.0
Mail last read Sat Oct 3 16:02 2009 (EDT)
No Plan.

[root@localhost ~]#
Code:
[root@localhost ~]# finger hello
Login: hello Name: (null)
Directory: /home/hello Shell: /bin/bash
Never logged in.
No mail.
No Plan.
[root@localhost ~]#

Here we have some fields of which values are not set by us as can be seen in the above output. For example, for the user "hello" its second field is set as:

Name: (null)

So, how do we set the values of all those fields and many others if any in Red Hat EL 5?

Name is the fifth field in /etc/passwd
Also, see man finger
