fetchmail problems


hi all

We had our fetchmail running normally for almost 2 years now, the things it only gets the new email coming from gmail user, but after restarting it, it is now getting all emails from the start, i had added no fetchall on fetchmailrc but still getting all emails from the start, any suggestion how to get only new emails again????


fetchmailrc:

poll pop.gmail.com with proto POP3 port 995 and options no dns
username 'account' there with password 'secret' is 'user' here options ssl

Seems to me you need to set the option in the gmail settings
Code:
options > mail settings => forwarding and pop/imap => Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on
You could also set gmail to delete the messages, once retrieved by fetchmail.

that really solved it, i thought i was having with my fetchmail, but to know its on gmail account, that was a big help thanks
