DST patch on RH 7.2

I need to come up with a solution for DST on my RH 7.2 a previous replay suggested to use the source tzdata rpm package from Fedora Development, however I do not have tzdata installed in my system so I think the rpm will not work. Any other suggestions how to get around it. Thanks, I inheret the system so not sure what they did.By the way does anybody know what would the repercusions be if a patch is not applied on an NIS server. Thanks
