dovecot-auth: pam_ldap error


Hi Everyone,

Had anyone here experienced or encountered this error on the messages logs. It says: "dovecot-auth: pam_ldap: could not open secret file /etc/ldap.secrte (No such file or directory)

My OS is centos5

Please help....

that is because you dont have the file that holds the password the ldap client uses to bind.

Thank you for your reply.

I'm new in linux and much more on dovecot. Can you give me steps how would I add in the conf. So that it would look on the ldap.secret. Yes, I have openldap installed and it is running okay. However, I don't know how could I work my dovecot with ldap.
