Does nntp server inn have any built-in authentication system?

Hi!
I am using INN as NNTP server for building a news exchange system core. In my system, users have different permissions to access the newsgroups. That is, some users can read and write messages to some newsgroups, but others cannot. Does INN have this support? I mean, if I introduce some users and the allowed newsgroups for INN, when some user accesses to my system using a newsreader, is it possible that only the allowed newsgroups are seen by that user?
