DNS zone file not updating

Hi,
One of my zone files is not updating correctly. The message I am seeing in the log file is:

Nov 1 08:15:52 bm-fs named[22204]: zone bm.bigrocksports.com/IN: refresh: failure trying master 10.9.10.191#53 (source 0.0.0.0#0): clocks are unsynchronized
Nov 1 08:16:07 bm-fs named[22204]: zone 10.in-addr.arpa/IN: refresh: failure trying master 10.9.10.191#53 (source 0.0.0.0#0): clocks are unsynchronized

However, when I check the messages log regarding time, to me it looks like the time is synchronized:

Nov 1 08:14:49 bm-fs ntpd[22282]: synchronized to LOCAL(0), stratum 10
Nov 1 08:14:49 bm-fs ntpd[22282]: kernel time sync disabled 0041
Nov 1 08:15:51 bm-fs ntpd[22282]: synchronized to 10.9.10.191, stratum 3

Am I wrong?

That seems like your clock is just too far off. Use the program ntpdate to sync up with any of the servers out there, something like:

Code:
ntpdate 1.debian.pool.ntp.org

or

ntpdate 2.debian.pool.ntp.org
Peace,
JimBass

Thanks, it is working now. I think the sync just took a while to "sync". Patience is a virtue I guess.
