I'm having problems when changing my IP number in DNS that was already working. My internet signal provider changed my IP number and I made this change on domains files (I'm using Bind 8), but since last saturday (25/08) I have not reached my domains through internet. I've changed the last change date (That number in domains files).
When I test using www . dnsreport . com I can see that my nameserver is still pointing to my old IP.
So, my question is: Do I have to do anything else to make my DNS reachable again?
Here at Brazil we have an organization that manage the DNS in the country, so when change the IP from a domain, we should tell this organization too. Actually we do all the process from web, but my point here is to tell that our DNS is manage from a superior organization, so when i change the ip from a domain...i must tell them that domain has a new ip.

Rep:
In that respect how can i run my own DNS server when serving a .com.br domain name.
The control panel at Registro.br does not appear to have a place where to register your DNS server host names.
Example:
If you have registered a domain: mydomain.com.br
To run my own DNS i need to register ns1.mydomain.com.br & ns2.mydomain.com.br so how can i go about registering these names.
GoDaddy has a section called Total DNS where you can make these changes to notify your register that you are going to run your own DNS but i was unable to find a way to do this in Registro.br
Any input on that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
