diskless ubuntu

Hello,
I've setup diskless ubuntu client machine. When it boots over netork, it picks up correct linux kernel image and every thing goes fine.
But when it tries to executes commands in /etc/rcS/*, I see errors on console that command not found looks like environment variable PATH did not get set correctly....
Any idea ..why it is so?

Can you post the solution? That way if anyone else tries or has same issue, they can see some type of solution.

Environment variable were corrects. Somehow /nfsroot/usr/bin was mising. When I tried to execute command manually then I came to know about this.
