Thumbs down DHCP Fail Over Issue

Hello,

I have configured DHCP Failover lab & both DHCP Servers are working fine individually.

Now, If I restart Primary DHCP Service, then Secondat DHCP Server is giving below message in "tail -f /var/log/messages" command line.

Feb 28 18:29:06 station3 dhcpd: failover peer dhcp-failover: peer moves from normal to recover
Feb 28 18:29:07 station3 dhcpd: failover peer dhcp-failover: I move from communications-interrupted to partner-down
Feb 28 18:29:07 station3 dhcpd: failover peer dhcp-failover: peer moves from recover to recover
Feb 28 18:29:07 station3 dhcpd: Update request all from dhcp-failover: sending update

Feb 28 18:29:08 station3 dhcpd: Sent update done message to dhcp-failover
Feb 28 18:29:08 station3 dhcpd: failover peer dhcp-failover: peer moves from recover to recover-wait

Considering above error, both DHCP Servers behaving very strange & according to me, the problem is Both DHCP Server can't communicate with each other properly.

In this situation, my "dhcpd.leases" file shows all IP as reserved, though I have single IP in USE!!!!

Let me know if someone had this problem earlier,

Nishith
