debian+postfix: mailq after change of ip address

Hi,

after a change of the ip address of my virtual linux box I have a long mailq with entries trying to be delivered to the old ip address of the server.

with postfix flush the system continued to deliver to the old ip address.

how can I change postfix to deliver the mailq to the new address??

adding the old address is not an option because the change was done by my hosting provider and due to the limitation of a virtual box (vserver) I'm not able ...

FYI:
postfix is configured with amavis. so the delivery way is:
postfix -> amavis -> postfix -> maildir

thanks in advanced!

Hi, dot-org.

If postfix is stuck using an old IP address for something, then you
either have an IP address listed somewhere in your config
(e.g. transport table, relayhost parameter, etc.) or you forgot
to update your DNS records.

If it's a DNS issue, then postfix would pick up the new address
once you make the change to DNS. If it's a hard-coded IP address
that changed in the postfix config, then you need to requeue
the old messages:

Code:
postsuper -r ALL

Hi Berhanie,

postsuper -r ALL WAS the magic thing that I needed :-)

After applying this command the mails are reprocessed with the right destination ip and are delivered successfull.

Thanks!
