Cyrus IMAP pegs processor and slowly eats resources
I'm looking for some direction, Cyrus will randomly peg processor and slowly take the processor to 100% utilization. And email will come to a crawl. Restarting Cyrus will usually fix the problem but sometimes the process needs killed.
I can find nothing in the imapd.log/mail.err/mail.warn/mail.info/messages log files that point me to what could be causing this. I feel completely in the dark. I can't seem to put together any relevant time table...
System Ubuntu Server 9.10
Cyrus 2.2
Using LDAP
What am I missing? Anyone seen this?
Looking for direction on how to troubleshoot this farther.
