cvsweb on centos5.5

Hi...I migrated cvs repository from ubuntu 9.04 to CentOS-5.5, The users are able to check in/out the modules on new server. Now I just wanted to publish their repository on web interface. For that later I came to know that cvsweb interface should be installed. So I tried using "yum -y install cvsweb" but I could not. I downloaded the "cvsweb-3.0.6-4.el5.noarch.rpm" & installed using "rpm -ivh --nodeps cvsweb-3.0.6-4.el5.noarch.rpm". So these below are the files & directories of cvsweb
$rpm -ql cvsweb
/etc/cvsweb
/etc/cvsweb/conf.d
/etc/cvsweb/cvsweb.conf
/usr/share/doc/cvsweb-3.0.6
/usr/share/doc/cvsweb-3.0.6/ChangeLog
/usr/share/doc/cvsweb-3.0.6/INSTALL
/usr/share/doc/cvsweb-3.0.6/NEWS
/usr/share/doc/cvsweb-3.0.6/README
/usr/share/doc/cvsweb-3.0.6/TODO
/usr/share/doc/cvsweb-3.0.6/cvsweb-httpd.conf
/usr/share/enscript
/usr/share/enscript/hl
/usr/share/enscript/hl/lang_cvsweb.st
/usr/share/enscript/hl/lang_cvsweb_diff.st
/var/www/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi
/var/www/html/css
/var/www/html/css/cvsweb.css
/var/www/icons/small/minigraph.png

So can anybody please tell me, which file I have to edit & what, and how can I publish the cvs repos on webinterface.
Apache is already running. the path of repository which has to be published is "/repo/cvsroot"

"CentOS-5.5"

before you do anything you might want to upgrade to 5.6
Code:
su -
yum upgrade
Quote:
"yum -y install cvsweb"
NEVER NEVER use the y option unless you are 100% SURE of the outcome
Do NOT get in the habit of using it !!!

DO NOT EVER use rpm to install some random rpm !!! you CAN kill the install VERY FAST !!!
use rpm to install as a VERY LAST resort

some rpm's from ,say ATrpm , ARE INCOMPATIBLE with the base cent install !
yum is there for a reason - use it

also what third party repos did you install
read the "how to's " on the wiki
http://wiki.centos.org/
-- software repos---
http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/Repositories

then search for cvs with yum
Code:
su -
yum search cvs
