customize lightdm

hi,

I want to enter from a local machine lightdm turning to a remote server using XDMCP.

I do it with a thin client, I also want to do it from an old PC that I use as a simple terminal.
in the window of the login I have only local accounts on my local mchine,

it is possible to customize the login window of lightdm to allow access to a remote server running XDMCP?

thanks for help
best regards
NOT SOLVED , error in maniplation, sorry

I hate just posting a link, but the arch wiki seems to cover a similar use case to yours, see here. If you check higher up in that wiki article it mentions lightdm setup as well. The ubuntu wiki may be of some use to you as well.
