CUPS : too many copies

I installed Cups on Debian to share printers with Postscript option. But printings were too slow and I added the following line in printers.conf to avoid Cups calling pstops and Ghostscript each time :
Filter application/postscript 0 -
Now printings are very quick and everything is OK, except numer of copies. For n copies required, Cups seams to send n times the printing. But the postscript ptinting contails also th enumber of copies, and the printer also prints each time n copies. The result is n x n copies. I'm trying to tell Cups not to send n times the printing, but just once. I didn't find any solution. Do you think it is possible ?

Thanks !

Samba to override CUPS

Finally I didn't find any solution to force CUPS to send just once postscript to printer. I obtained the same results declaring the same printer name un Samba with lpd printing, overriding Cups. It prints very fast without multiplying the number of copies, just what I wanted. Cups is always present and helps to ditribute PPD drivers to Windows clients, cupsaddsmb can always share the ppd because it's executed before the share is declared in Samba. The only little problem is that there's no CUPS printing logs any more.
