CUPS crashes thanks to daily cron

Hello,
I'm new here so don't know whether this is the right section for my post or not...
We have a faxserver over here, with CUPS. It all works fine, except that CUPS shuts down every 2 past 4, the time of:
Code:
02 4 * * * root run-parts /etc/cron.daily
The cron.daily contains:
Code:
00-logwatch hylafax makewhatis.cron rpm slocate.cron cleanup.faxarchive logrotate prelink settime tetex.cron
Does anybody know which may cause CUPS to crash? It certainly ain't slocate, tetex, settime and rpm... Maybe somebody had thesame experience with on of those crons in combination with a crashing CUPS deamon.

Thanks in advance!
Regards, Luke

When did this start happening?

Has it worked flawlessly until recently?

Have you done any security updates lately?

Well, I don't know exactly. The system operator that worked here didn't mention anything about it, and he is away for 1 or 2 months now.

As far as we know, yes.

Nope, nothing really changed since the past few months. I really believe it has to do something with a cron...

Take a look at the log files and compare them, only thing that I can come up with.

I did, but there's nothing specifically saying that CUPS crashed... By the way, to get CUPS up again, you need to do a shutdown -r...
