Cronjobs problem

I have server that runs about 30 scripts on cronjobs.

The problem is that the cronjobs supposed to run at a specified hour are started every minute during that hour.

this is how the cron command looks like:
* 23 * * * /usr/local/bin/php /home/admin/domains/developmentaid.org/public_html/cron/tender_lists.php

and this is the cron log output:
.....
Mar 31 01:22:01 dedi01 crond[13364]: (admin) CMD (/usr/local/bin/php /home/admin/domains/developmentaid.org/public_html/cron/tender_lists.php)

....

Does anybody know what the problem might be and how can I solve it?

Thanx

Are you sure that commenting out this line in that crontab stops it running (ie are you sure it isn't called from elsewhere)?

What user's crontab is this?

What distro do you use?

Edit, actually, I think you need to specify which minute in that hour to execute btw - try 10 23 * * * or similar

The problem with computers is that they only do what you tell them to do.....

The * means all possible values which means run every minute.
Some good reading:
