Creating exact copy of webserver

I have a VPS with a webhosting company. I wanted to create an Exact mirror and load it on a server at home to mirror the site. Is this feasible? If so, can I do it without loading any addition software on the webserver?

You should be able to use any ftp client. That's what I do with my web site except in reverse. I make the files on a local machine and ftp them to the web hosting machine. Ftp works in both directions. Your web hosting provider should have instructions for you to do this sort of thing.
