Courier and missing messages

Hi,
on a mail server with hundreds of mailboxes several users have complained about the disappearance of all messages.
There is some know bug about Courier?
We're using Postfix + Courier (pop3/imap) and squirrelmail as webmail.
Thankyou very much

Maybe they downloaded them all with POP, not realizing that that would remove them from the server.
